What went wrong? We were getting on fine and then the moment went?

Me and this guy who I have been friends with for a long time finally got down to business last night, we were at my place alone, started making out, got in the shower were things got hotter and then after i didnt want to do something he did we shifted to the bedroom. Things just went a bit sour after that, theres still sexual tension there.Do you think that this is over? I dont know what to do, things are a bit wierd.
