What is the best kind of parrot for a pet?

i don't care how big it is, but i would like a pet bird that is smart and playfull i am very committed and will do the necessary studying before buying it, but there are so many types of parrots that i don't know how to choose one. this will be my second bird pet, the first was a Cockatiel.
